The Best Management Practices Company Awards 2027 (BMPC Awards), organized for the sixth consecutive year by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka), recognizes outstanding public and private sector organizations for their growth, success, and excellence in management practices.
The awards highlight best management practices demonstrated over the recent five-year period, assessing key areas including leadership, strategy, people management, partnerships and resources, processes, and performance outcomes. The initiative provides organizations with a structured framework to evaluate, benchmark, and enhance their management practices.
Winners will gain national and international recognition, strengthening their professional standing and corporate profile within the business community. Following a rigorous evaluation process, CPM Sri Lanka will recognize organizations that demonstrate excellence in management, leadership, and organizational performance.
PROTECTED INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The BMPC Awards identity and associated marks are formally protected through registrations secured with the National Intellectual Property Office of Sri Lanka (NIPO) Registration Nos.: 01-757/31 | 01-757/32 | 01-757/33 published in Gazette No. 2,422 dated 31st January 2025.
These registrations reinforce the official identity, authenticity, and intellectual property protection of the BMPC Awards.
A prestigious awards ceremony will be held on Friday, 26th February 2027, at the Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, bringing together 1,200+ top and senior-level corporate leaders from across Sri Lanka. The event will provide a distinguished platform to celebrate and recognize organizational excellence and outstanding management practices.
As a distinctive feature of the awards, the Top 10 Ranked Organizations will receive an exclusive opportunity to showcase their exemplary management practices and success stories at the CPM Management Insights Summit 2027, scheduled for 25th February 2027, before an audience of 750+ business and management professionals.

Evaluation Period
1st January – 31st December 2025
The evaluation period covers the timeframe from 01st January to 31st December 2025. However, best management practices initiated in previous years will also be taken into consideration, provided that the report clearly highlights the growth, progress, or transformation achieved during the official evaluation period.

All application and evaluation fees are non-refundable. Complimentary seat allocations cannot be transferred to any other CPM Sri Lanka events.

Evaluation Criteria
Video Presentation Assessment (10 minutes)
Each presentation may feature up to three speakers. Dress code: Office Attire. All presenters must be clearly visible during their respective parts.
Final Selected Company Q&A (Top 40 — Online, 10 minutes)
The same three presenters from the original video presentation are required to attend. No replacements permitted.

A dedicated supplement in the Daily FT and Daily Mirror newspapers will highlight and celebrate the achievements of award-winning companies.
Chartered Professional Manager Journal
A commemorative edition of the CPM Journal offering a platform for success stories, advertisements, interviews, and advertorial content.
Information Security & Authority
The Institute assures the security of all information provided by companies. It will not be divulged to any third party except to the technical evaluation panel of judges, who are bound by confidentiality agreements. The Panel of Judges will be the sole and final deciding authority regarding evaluation procedures and award recipients.
